Did you forget that it was the left over there that instituted the ban on overtime . . . ? They specifically limited the work week to 48 hours and no longer. Look up the Working Time Directive. (Oh: they based that on the USSR's constitution, which officially limited the work week to seven hours per day in 1936 and was changed to 41 hours per week in 1977.) |
