But there are powerful forces in favor of keeping the cent, and I think the round-up, round-down business would irritate shoppers no end.And they will deal with it. It's not like people will stop buying things. Congress is always making changes that annoy large numbers of people and *cost* money, you'd figure something that annoys large numbers of people (with the only true negative being annoyance) but *saves* money should be forced through. |
