The Asians and Jews in NYC naturally pursue intellectual interests. That's why they are going to make up a larger percentage of Stuyvesant while blacks and Latinos are less than 5%.The same people who complain about the cost of prep courses are the ones who find the money for Jay-Z/Kanye West tour and other intellectual pursuits. They blame. These people in Flushing Queens who spend money on prep courses are not evil rich people. They're actually middle-class people with priorities. They should not be demonized by the NY Times. |
