Even in the black community, Africans tend to do a lot better than West Indians and native born blacks. Immigrants have not been exposed to Jersey Shore or Playstation.I disagree. They have equal access to video games and cable television. Asians are more likely to pursue intellectual interests and the NY Times wants to punish them for it. The fact remains that this is not a level playing field and some groups are more prepared for the exam than other groups. It has always been like that. It always will be. It is what makes America great. |
