The arguments you're throwing are reminiscent of one of those cheap movies where they're flinging the contents of an old Ford van out the rear doors in a chase scene.Newt Gingrich changed the rules back in 1997. Up until then, there was no penalty at all when you sold your nest egg. And even after Newt, you get to keep most of it anyway. Why all the hoopla over something that happened in 1997? And without Obamacare, if you're old and sick and have to go on Medicaid, the state takes the ENTIRE sale price before you can collect. This is an actual improvement ... |
