No. The differences in immigrant groups progress was documented by Moynihan and Glazer in "Beyond the Melting Pot" back in 1963. The immigrant groups studied were the Irish, Italians, Puerto Ricans, Blacks and Jews.

A contemporary study would look at different Hispanic groups.

However, I was referring to what I perceive as an diluting of the initial immigrant drive for success in succeeding generations.
