You are correct, Long Island (as well as most of the NYC metro area) wasn't hit nearly as hard as much of the rest of the country. While obvously it isn't 2007 there either, the value Long Island lost is only the value that was gained between 2001 and 2007. Most homes are still worth at least over double what they were in the 1990's. |
