There are many types of corporations whose "purpose for incorporation" may vary. But under the law, they're all the same. And that goes for EMPLOYERS under LABOR laws in particular. If the church doesn't want to comply with labor rules, then they are free to not have employees and put priests and nuns behind the desks. Then there would be no issue.But one you have employees, you're required to follow the law. |
