A woman that's using contraceptives keeps her family size manageable, affordable and can work (as in being up to the responsibilities of holding onto a job). Her children have the resources to grow up to become successful on their own. The parents have the chance to build their own savings and maintain independence in their old age. That also benefits their children, who by then will be able to focus on their own families. Fact is, that cannot happen without 2 incomes.So, what was that about "social issues" being nebulous and independent of economic issues? |
