Delayed at the request of the republican Governor of Nebraska who wanted the pipeline though their water supply relocated elsewhere within the state. You can't do civil engineering rework in the three months the repupublican house allowed for civil engineers to rework the route, leaving Obama no choice but to not do it given the alloted time.If your favorite grandstanders in DC were serious about this at all, they would have allowed the time to reroute and give a realistic deadline. They didn't even bother. |
