About 15 (maybe 20) or so years ago I was at the mall with my wife and we passed by a CD music store. There was a Beatles disc in the discount rack and three 'tweens were looking though the selection. One of the girls picks up the disc and asks, "who are they?" Their "leader," who I'm sure considered herself very worldly, announces in a superior tone: "The Beatles? You know, that's Paul McCartney's old group."I turned to my wife and said, "I weep for the future of our nation...." |
