The TSA says he wasn't "detained". However, Paul, as the article you linked notes, "excoriated" TSA Director John Pistole last summer at a hearing, over the TSA's heavy-handed treatment. Perhaps this is the TSA playing tit-for-tat with Paul?In any event, given the TSA's track record when it comes to things like searches and detentions, I tend to think Paul is telling the truth, and I am hardly a right-winger. |
