An academy had just let out for lunch. The place was packed with students from the academy. There are about half a dozen such academies within a five block radius of my home. Those kids were studying the same courses they get in high school.This is what I'm talking about. These prep schools give them an advantage on the Specialized High School exam and SAT. How many of these academies are in Brownsville or Washington Heights? |
