Blayne Tullis, 22, is considered a suspect in last week’s indecent exposure case in Franklin’s Fieldstone Farms subdivision and in another case on I-65 in Brentwood. In the I-65 case, a man exposed himself while committing a lewd act in traffic at about 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 27. A witness was able to give Brentwood Police the license plate number, which is registered to Tullis, and a description of a metallic blue Toyota Scion that matched the car in two other cases. On Dec. 28 a woman told police that a man in such a car followed her and her teenage daughter to their home in Fieldstone Farms. He pulled up to their driveway, opened his car door and exposed himself to the woman while engaging in a lewd act. Detectives have linked these cases to others. On Oct. 10, 17, and 24, a man matching Tullis’ description and driving a Scion followed a woman walking her baby in The Meadows Subdivision off of Del Rio Pike in Franklin. On his third encounter with that victim, the man opened his car door and exposed himself while committing a lewd act. Tullis was in custody on Tuesday afternoon at the Williamson County Jail on an $8,000 bond. Franklin Police have charged Tullis with two counts of Indecent Exposure and one count of Stalking. Police in Brentwood have charged him with an additional count of Indecent Exposure in their case. Tullis is due in court on at 2 p.m. on Jan. 12. Tullis was employed by the Franklin Parks Department as a seasonal employee starting in June 2010, and was hired full time in November 2011. Tullis was off duty and in his personal vehicle when the incidents occurred. He was terminated on Tuesday. “This is extremely shocking to us,” City Administrator Eric Stuckey said. “The city is very thorough in conducting background checks and nothing came up to red flag this individual during the hiring process. This behavior is intolerable and this individual was terminated immediately.” |
