No, the only reason he put in "1946" was to try and slip Hitler in the back door, as otherwise he knows the responses would have been "hundreds of years ago with the Crusades". He had to throw Hitler in there to make his rationalization seem possible.

The fact is Tebow shows NO threat as Al's rationization is implying.
