I'll take the bait. :)If it was a SPORTS "reporter" they're not really journalists, so pretty much any "highlight and color" for the show probably goes. Roone Arledge set THOSE rules. :( But if it was a REAL reporter, that would be out of bounds normally. BUT ... it would also depend on the context in which the question was raised. If Tebow was there gassing off about the virginity of OTHERS, then it really WOULD be a fair question to ask ... falls under the "hypocrisy" rule and reporters would eat that shit up. But without any idea as to the context of what was going on in that particular interview, I really can't say other than if Tebow was gassing off about virginity (certainly not a sports topic) then perhaps the reporter did the right thing in questioning his authority to make such a statement. That's how it REALLY works ... |
