Both want him out. Democrats want him to go totally away for reasons I've gone into elsewhere. Republicans want him to act at what he does best: give charismatic speeches which fire up the base (sound familiar?). Many GOP insiders see Cain as their Obama, a man popular with the base but so completely inexperienced that he could fatally damage the brand as President.
