Ultimately, the real problem is that his wife has become rather unattractive when compared to what's available on porn. If she's a frumpy looking wife, she may have partially caused this, and they could both work together to improve their appearances together with exercise, diet, and new clothing. Now, if he's addicted to porn, that may require some work on his part. Watching porn on a smartphone seems like a desperate man in need of a quick fix.
