Had he not been a big sell to white evangelicals he would have been a 5th or 6th round pick on par with the likes of a Gino Torretta or a Troy Smith rather than the hyped-up Second Coming of John Elway.Given a fair shot and then quickly forgotten. No shame there. Instead his shameless pimping of Christianity robbed some other rookie of a first round selection and the guaranteed money that comes with that. |
