I respect religion when the practitioners of it don't preach to me or attempt to make its tenets public policy.And as I've said before, I respect organized religion for its community aspects and its good works, like charity, but I don't like faith. This is contrary to the fashionable view that believes in God but is opposed to organized religion. |
