The Bermuda Weather Service said in a statement that the storm will pass more than 100 miles east of the island on Saturday night. The National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida, said Ophelia has winds of 120 mph and was 225 miles south-southeast of Bermuda late Saturday morning. The storm is moving north at 21 mph and is expected to start weakening Sunday. A tropical storm watch has been issued for Bermuda. |
