Russia's economic power is even more inextricably tied to oil prices than the other OPEC members, mostly because their energy concerns have not translated petrodollars into foreign investments. Yes, they have a few overseas holdings, but by and large they're using their relatively new found oil income to pay off the old Soviet debts. As such they (and Venezuela, and Iran, for that matter) are even more susceptible to any movement we can make toward reducing our demand for oil. Thus one has to wonder why you'd criticize efforts to marginalize their economic power (and apparently Germany's influence if we follow your Beck-like chalkboard scrawlings). We can beat them without firing a shot, yet you and your ilk seem hell bent on both making us thoroughly subservient to them, and forcing us into a war with them. Why do we have to pursue a path which gets us the worst of all possible outcomes?
