It would because they are putting this coincidental piece of metal in a position of prominence over any symbols of other religions. Because you people believe that your symbols are the best in the world and everyone should find comfort in them. That violates free exercise more than anything. Why should the loved ones of non-Christians who died at the WTC have to endure another example of Christians believing that everything is better for everyone and not just them through a 2000 year-old lynched Jew? |
