The programs INCORRECTLY characterized as "entitlements"you must mean. Social Security is actually an investment pension, so ROI is the best descriptor for that system. Medicare is insurance, and there's a premium for it.To not keep both programs going, paying full benefits, is a breach of contract. Apparently the republicans have noissue with breaking this contract. Nobody should take them at their word if this is how they intend to do things. Get them OUT of office FAST. It'll be best for America when they're GONE. |
