Keep in mind, when we talk about raising federal taxes on the rich, fed bracket of 35% going up to 39.5% plus local cities and states talking about another 3-5% increase and where're talking about an additional 8-10% on top of what the top bracket is already paying.That's close to 45% effective for the top earners. That's why Republicans fight increases. |
