I'm not following your logic. The House passed a debt limit increase bill earlier this week. It's fairly popular with the masses. On what ground would the GOP be further damaged by going into default? The GOP has bent over backwards on almost every key issue except tax increases. Why can't Obama concede that he can't get a tax increase passed and look for alternatives? |
