He was willing to rollback on medicare and other entitlement programs, republicans weren't willing to do their part. They weren't there to negotiate, only to direct orders. So much to the point that Senate republicans have gotten agitated over it. They're going to end up in the dirt like they did during the Clinton administration, they might have the authority but they wont have any respect. |
