Yeah but regardless of that, if that's the agreement that is in place then they need to honor it. Landlords in LA will buy buildings cheap because they have strings attached (sometimes rent control, sometimes historic statues, other stuff) and then don't want to honor their agreement which was the reason it was inexpensive to begin with. |
