I don't know the Canadian situation in detail, but it's pretty bad over here. Best illustration: we had federal elections in June 2010. Normal procedure then is that it takes a few weeks, at most a month or two, before a coalition is formed, and the new government is sworn in. We are now July 2011. We STILL don't have a new government, and the whole Flanders vs. Wallonia thing is the single most important reason for that. |
