Is there any doubt in anyone's mind that if Casey Anthony had been Laquisha Williams, she'd be on Death Row now?This was "checkbook justice"; Anthony had good, expensive lawyers, not public defenders, and the "protection of her complexion". She was a sympathetic defendant on top of all that. Jury nullification is a b*tch, but it's clear to me, at least, why she walked. |
