It's sad that such recognition is required legally in the first place. After all, this whole movement is the result of legally-permitted discrimination against people who love each other and want to stay with each other for life - hospital visitation, joint possession of property and such. That's really what was behind all of this to begin with ... It's not like you HAVE to be married to love someone. |
