My guess is #2.Remember Reagan's backround: Movie Actor. TV Star. He knew how to play a role that you forgot the person and veiwed the character. He also bore no grudge towards those who disagreed with him. If you were a Democrat, he would still talk to you. I wasn't fond of some of his policies, but I could not hate the man. As a long-time Conservative Democrat I credit Ronald Reagan with his making America beieve in itself again, after the morass of Vietnam, the Nixon self discruction and downfall and the Jimmy Carter years. |
