Correct, but he said "it could be argued". Once an actual gene is found, the potential exists that it could be "treated". That's the point. Just because we don't have a cure for some genetic "abnormalities", doesn't mean we won't be able to discover one.That said, when there is no actually tangible proof of what causes an abnormality (such as a gene or some other physical attribute), no "cure" can be found. As it exists, homosexuality is not a "medical condition" that could be treated or "cured", because there is no medical basis for it. |
