You're thinking about it too much.Probably someone shot him to be safe because they wanted to stay alive themselves and didn't realize he wasn't a threat. But maybe some SEAL shot him when he already had his hands up. If so, we'll never find out. The body needed to be dumped ASAP (a) because Muslim law says burial within 24 hours and (b) it needed to be presented as a fait accompli. What's the US benefit in showing pictures? Pictures can be faked, so they aren't proof of anything. It only gives the radicals something to incite people with. |
