The great majority of hotel maid personnel in California is made up of Hispanic women.As someone that has traveled California quite a bit, it has to be well over 90%. I've seen very few white women doing housekeeping and they could just as easily have been light skinned Hispanic. I've seen a few Asians (probably Filipino), but I have never seen a black woman in housekeeping in California. |
