What the hell is physically abusive about the maid having to tuck the sheet between the mattress?

I would not say that it's "abusive", but it's back breaking physical labor. Lifting those heavy mattresses and getting a firm tight tuck on the corners and sides is not easy. They want guests to be able to bounce a coin off the bed.

Seriously, it's hard work although I don't support government getting involved in this.

I guess this is a way to repay the Latino voters and all those who came out to support "Nicky the maid" against Meg Whitman.

(Is Nicky the maid still in this country?)
