Same goes for the deficit (the result of the pointless Iraq invasion and the unfunded Medicare D) and the general economic situation. Yet those facts are denied by the RWNBs daily. You can't have it both ways.The only fact known when Obama became President was the name of the courier. That's all they got out of the Gitmo interrogations, so they could have (and still can/should) closed down Gitmo and we would not be any the worse off for it. Nor would closing it have prevented yesterday's news. Nothing else was known, aside from the inference that Binladen was in Pakistan. There's gong to be a public report with the timeline on all this. Stop with the RWNB rumor, that's all it is. Fact is, bush had little to do with this,it was pretty much based on recently acquired intelligence. Best thing about this is being able to wind down military operations there and finally stop pouring tax dollars down that hole. That will help stop the growth of the deficit, since that's the primary cause of it. |
