But if we're to remain a nation of civilization and a nation of law, we cannot descend to animal behavior or we lose our entire purpose and being. This is why I've been such a pain in the butt to many ever since 9/11 because we're supposed to be so much better than we've behaved from TSA to our concepts of justice. Every time we cower in fear and lash out, we only cheapen ourselves and tell ourselves that America isn't capable of dispensing justice and standing up to these cowards.Sure we're all pissed ... and many still cry out for justice. Holding our heads high however, and carrying out our constitutional law gives them the finger and proves those bastards wrong. But that sure ain't what we did these past ten years. Law and order ain't about lynchings. It's about doing it right in the first place. And what happened today is little more than a coward choosing "death by cop." And we're supposed to fear these morons? :( |
