I've had disagreements with the man in the White House too.I believe that his healthcare plan is an abomination that while it -may- provide access to healthcare to some additional people, it doesn't have any mechanism in it with any teeth than can contain costs and therefore I believe it will be costing the American taxpayers more money in the long run. Foreign relations hasn't been a strong suit of his either. The US's relationship with Russia has continued to deteriorate and it also seems like our relationship with the UK also has weakened a bit. The jury is still out on the Middle Eastern strategy. I understand the discontent surrounding the Economic Stimulus funds and bailouts. I feel that they were necessary at the time but probably not in the amount that was spent on them. Some states used the funds in rather wasteful ways (such as Michigan using them to put large freeway mile markers every .1 miles). My biggest problem with Obama is that he was spineless prior to the 2010 mid-terms and was more of a follower versus a leader. |
