I agree that it’s not the most elegant way of phrasing it, but it seems to have achieved its point of emphasizing that her mother’s lack of effective sex education resulted in Bristol becoming pregnant.But again, trying to get back to relevance, if we’re trying to draw parallels here, we should be blaming Tripp for the problem. |
