Morris, your thinking seems to me to be convoluted. The educational process goes from the parent to the child, not the other way around. So if you have the most high-minded parents who do their best to impart strict moral and ethical values to their children, but one of the children, because of external influences, fails to follow those teachings, you'd blame the parents??? I don't see the logic. Lets try it the other way around. Two parents with questionable ethics and morals have a child. Would you then not vote for that child based solely on the questionable behavior of the parents? Think about it. |
