Still, read my response to bingbong.Imagine a 16 year-old girl in a non-religious household. Her parents find out that she's having sex with her boyfriend. Do you think they'll freak out? Of course they will. The girl could argue, "But mom, we use condoms", or "I'm on the pill" and I can promise you that won't end the argument. The parents, like good parents, will still do their best to make sure that their daughter isn't alone with the guy and will do whatever they can to prevent future sexual encounters. And this would be true even in a liberal Palin-hating household in Massachusetts, Maryland, or Long Island. |
