Giving kids the information they need and the knowledge that a LOT is involved is better than that "just say no" crap. When kids understand how sex complicates relationships,the responsibilities involved they will shy away from it. That's not what "abstinence education " does. It fills their heads with all sorts of misconceptions that inevitably end up creating a conception since they don't know how to handle sex in a relationship or even how to protect themselves. |
