Nobody's doubting this. The dispute is that Trump claims that it was his high number that prevented him from serving. Not student deferment. With a 3 of 356, Trump would not have been called for military service. If Trump didn't have his deferments, he'd have been called in 1965. It was that which prevented his service, not his high number.
