How, then was Obama able to graduate Magna Cum Laude, which requires a cumulative GPA of 3.8 or better?I'm sick of this "black tax" nonsense, wherein high-achieving blacks have everything about them called into question, as opposed to similarly high-achieving whites. It seems that blacks who succeed must jump through hoops no one else does, and "verify" their grades, credentials, or even birthplaces, to justify their achievements. I agree. But this is one of the side effects of affirmative action, even though in this case it's patently ridiculous. |
