No. Here's the problem with this law. In order to be on the Arizona ballot, according to the law, one has to have:a.) A long form birth certificate or TWO of the following: b.) Early baptismal or circumcision certificate. C.) Hospital birth record. d.) Postpartum medical record for the mother or child signed by the doctor or midwife or the person who delivered or examined the child after birth. e.) Early census record. Due to Hawaii law, Obama can't get a.) and probably won't be able to provide TWO of b.), c.), d.), or e.). Therefore, Arizona has placed an additional qualification on becoming President that excludes Obama from being listed on the ballot (or written in) yet Obama still meets the Constitutional requirements to serve as President of the United States. This fact alone should invalidate the law as unconstitutional. It has nothing to do with being a "proofer" or not. |
