And this is where Ann Coulter does a great job of digging a hole...as I said on Human Events last week when it appeared (before that turned into a sausage-fest as all of her posts do), physicists are not qualified to speak on this subject. She talked to physicists, but no biologists, amazingly, and expected it to fly over my head.Coulter talked to physicists, which is all nice and okay, but only an oncologist can tell you about the effects it will have on your body. Like her prior article, Coulter also did not qualify different types of radiation. Including the opinion of an oncologist, who can tell you what kinds of radiation are good (60Co, usually used in cancer treatment) and what isn't (239Pu, of uranium radiation), would have gone a long way. I guess Ann Coulter expected the left to call her names, instead of showing flaws in the arugment. Stick to politics. |
