Because the mother had Little Johnnie around for a little longer and little Johnnie is more of a human than he was before anyways (more developed, less of an opportunity for a miss-carriage).Under such logic, a 15 year old kid is more of a human than a newborn infant since he can survive on his own and the newborn cannot and Mommy has had him around longer. Do you also grant teenagers greater personhood over infants when it comes to freedom from wanton legalized murder because of this? |
