I smoked a bit in my late teens (both my parents smoked, my father more than my mother) both said "If you are going to smoke, do it in front of us." When my father dropped dead of a double coronary attack at 62 years of age, (two weeks before my 21st birthday) I gave up smoking totally (three weeks after the funeral I got my mother to stop.As to alcohol, I take a drink every couple of years, usually in a restaurant. |
