Over 95% of their population growth between 2000-2010 was from non-whites, most of them poor.Well DUH, it's a border state with the same illegal immigrant problem as the other border states, and furthermore it took the brunt of the Katrina disaster where 10's of thousands of Louisiana's poor became Texas' problem. |
